#8 RSS

I love Google Reader as it ties in with my other Google applications (including Blogger) and I then only have to login once - in fact at home It just remembers who I am and I never have to log in.

I subscribe to 40 Blogs via Rss and this allows me to scan a plethora of information very quickly while a sip a coffee in the morning. . . .yes I know, sick . .. .

I also use RSS to perform saved searches in search engines that automatically tell me when new information or items have been added. I could tell you what I mean, but in doing so may incriminate myself, so i will end this sentence here . .. . Hmmm, in summary, it assists in finding things to download. . .

I use this every day . . . .

Google has recently added a search box at the top of my page so I can quickly search my subscribed blogs for thing I may have read, but have forgotten where. It also allows me to "Star" items, "Share" items and view blog "Trends".

My Shared items are here:

I am going to try this to see what it does - it is suppoed to be a "clip" of my shared items. Looks like it is adding a "Widget" to my Blogger setup - hmmmmmm. I now get to arrange me shared elements and choose where these items will appear. Which should be over to the right. . .
